Unicare Pelvic Floor Stimulator

Unicare helps with stress, urge and mixed incontinence – what makes it stand out is a new programme designed to provide drug-free relief from secondary menstrual pain. By sending a tiny electrical current to the nerves in the area, the pelvic floor muscles are stimulated to contract which over time may strengthen the muscles helping with incontinence 

This device can work your pelvic floor muscles for you to build up their strength and help you to develop your own muscle control. It perfectly complements pelvic floor exercises.

The Unicare provides relief from conditions such as:

Urinary and faecal incontinence: including stress, urge and mixed types 

Additionally, it may help improve sexual intimacy by toning the pelvic floor muscles.

Period pain: primary menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea) and secondary menstrual pain due to conditions such as endometriosis, fibrosis or pelvic inflammatory disease.

Please Note 

• Do NOT use if you are or may be pregnant. 
  
• Do NOT use with optional electrode pads if you have a pacemaker (or if you have a heart rhythm problem) or with any electronic medical devices.
• Do NOT use in the first 6 weeks following a pelvic surgery or vaginal childbirth. 
• Do NOT use if you have symptoms of active urinary tract infection, vaginal infections, or localized lesions. 
• Do NOT use if you have poor sensation in the pelvic region. 
• Do NOT use optional electrodes on the front of the neck. Stimulation on the front of the neck can affect your heart rate or cause contraction of the throat.
• Do NOT use if you are unable to properly insert the vaginal or anal probe.
